Cozy rooms in Bed & Breakfast

You can book a room in our Bed & Breakfast in the cozy old fortress houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. Here it used to be, among other things, the county hospital, the infantry barracks and the bakery. We offer rooms from single rooms to family rooms. Some rooms have windows facing the fortress, others have windows facing the wall or have a view of the sea. Our B&B includes bed linnen, towels and breakfast buffet. Most rooms are equipped with mirrors and sinks. Shower and toilet are shared and are located in close proximity to the rooms. Smoking is prohibited throughout our accommodation and pets are not allowed.

Our breakfast buffet is appreciated by many of our guests. We offer freshly baked bread, home-roasted granola, many different kinds of nuts, seeds and dried fruit as well as locally produced eggs from free-range hens. We always have fresh fruit and vegetables and several vegan products on our buffet, as well as lactose- and gluten-free alternatives. Even when breakfast is not served, you can have a cup of tea or coffee in our breakfast room, and there is also access to fridge / freezer, microwave and crockery. The breakfast buffet is served from 08:00 in the morning.

Captivating accommodation in Kronohäktet

For a captivating stay, we can offer you accommodation in the fortress’s old prison from 1856. Here, prisoners served their sentences until the 1930s and the house is a well-preserved cultural monument. Now you have the chance to spend the night in a cell and you can choose between single and double cell. The room rate for a cell includes bed linen and towels. You can arrange breakfast in the house’s self-catering kitchen or you can add our breakfast buffet. Smoking is prohibited throughout our accommodation and pets are not allowed.
