Bed & Breakfast
The cozy old fortress houses in our Bed & Breakfast are dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. Here it used to be, among other things, the county hospital, infantry barracks and bakery serving the whole fortress. We offer rooms from single rooms to family rooms. Our B&B rooms includes bed linen, towels and breakfast buffet. Most rooms are equipped with a sink. Showers and toilets are shared and are located in close proximity to the rooms. Smoking is prohibited throughout our accommodation and pets are not allowed.
Breakfast
Our breakfast buffet is much appreciated. We offer freshly baked bread, homemade granola, many different kinds of seeds and dried fruits as well as fresh fruit and vegetables. We always serve organic eggs and organic dairy products. We have several vegan products on our buffet, as well as lactose- and gluten-free alternatives. Even when breakfast is not served, you can have a cup of tea or coffee in our breakfast room, and there is also access to a guest fridge / freezer, microwave and crockery. The breakfast buffet is served from 8 am.

Hostel in old prison
For a captivating stay, we offer accommodation in the fortress former prison from 1856, Kronohäktet. Prisoners served their sentences here until the 1930s and the house is a well-preserved cultural monument. Now you have the chance to spend the night in a cell and you can choose between single and double cell. The room rate for a cell includes bed linen and towels. You can arrange your own breakfast in the house’s self-catering kitchen or you can add our breakfast buffet. Smoking is prohibited throughout our accommodation and pets are not allowed.
